Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of Billslash Reach. Violation is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate suspension or termination.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to send messages that:

  • Are unsolicited bulk email ("spam") or sent without a lawful basis under CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, or PECR.
  • Promote illegal goods or services, malware, phishing, fraud, or scams.
  • Promote pornography, escort services, "adult dating", or sexual content.
  • Promote gambling, payday loans, work-from-home schemes, MLM, cryptocurrency pump-and-dumps, or get-rich-quick offers.
  • Promote firearms, ammunition, recreational drugs, tobacco, or vape products.
  • Defame, harass, threaten, or impersonate any person or organization.
  • Infringe intellectual property or violate any third-party right.

2. List Quality Requirements

You must only contact recipients with whom you have a legitimate business basis (opt-in, prior commercial relationship, publicly listed business contact, or other lawful basis). You may not:

  • Upload purchased, scraped, or rented lists.
  • Upload lists older than 12 months without re-permission.
  • Continue sending to addresses that have unsubscribed, hard-bounced, or marked your mail as spam.

Bounce rate above 5% in 24h triggers automatic campaign pause. Spam-complaint rate above 0.3% may result in immediate suspension under Gmail and Yahoo bulk-sender policy.

3. Sending Identity

Every email you send must:

  • Use a domain you own and have authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
  • Use accurate From, Reply-To, and Subject headers — no deceptive routing.
  • Include a clear identification of the sender and a valid physical postal address.
  • Include a functioning unsubscribe link and honor opt-outs within 10 business days (CAN-SPAM §5).

4. Technical Misuse

You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse-engineer the Service, abuse free trials, share accounts across organizations, or use the Service to attack third-party systems (DDoS, credential stuffing, port scanning, etc.).

5. Construction-Industry Specifics

Communications to general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, or project owners must be business-relevant. Solicitations on behalf of OSHA, government agencies, or labor unions require explicit prior consent of the named organization.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, throttle sending, remove content, and suspend accounts without notice when necessary to protect the Service or third parties. Repeated or egregious violations result in permanent termination without refund.

7. Reporting Abuse

Report suspected abuse to abuse@billslash.app. We respond to verified reports within two business days.
